how to FIX dead frames tutorial
well here it is:
Some custom models will have dead frames on animation, so it looks like it lagged a bit, this is due because unoptimized
HL2 compiler & decompiler, so the many times the model get compiled and decompiled it will add some dead frames into beginning animation.
In order to remove that to this:
1. Open the model you have compiled before on Jed Half-Life Model Viewer.
2. Go to Weapon Origin tab and select one animation (shoot1 animation should help you much).
3. Now press Stop and put the value 0 on the box.
Examine one-by-one animation that stand still until animation start (move).
4. Remember animation that you need to remove, example from 0-2.
We need atleast 1 animation that stand still before animation start
5. Now open up shoot1.smd using notepad
6. Find a line where it say time 0 then delete the all line between time 0 till time 3,
so now you can see time 3 is right below skeleton line. Save it
7. Do that with all other smd's
