Help Plz, Can i convert obj file to mdl?

I want to know if it ispossible to convert obj files to mdl files? if so can someone plz tell me how.

Reason isi found a website which has awesome 3d models but most of the formats are obj, and i want to convert it to mdl

I think its possible , it can be difficult to do. I'll check it out.

MDL itself is a compiled model for source and gldsource...

you cant just convert it that easily.

OK well i tryed to do it. Also she's right its really impossible for me to do it.

oh, i thought it was gonna be something similar to converting css to cs1.6

dont worry about it, if its hard and impossible i wont bother with it, really busy atm, got to many exams coming up and need to study.

Welcome glad that we can help a little Also me to to much school stuff

I think I know how, just go Milkshake 3d and get the obj. file and then save it as SMD half life file. Then open it again as an SMD file. Then you can do you whatever you want and edit the texture by importing the textures. I will make video teaching you how to it. But that is how I make obj. to mld.

you have the 3d model in any format
you create textures of that model to
and afther do that u must add animations and compile in .mdl format
