hey ... i've redone the vmt and also the diffuse, made u a normal map from the diffuse and a spec map, hope u like them Rimuto

This game does not use normals for the weapons.
modern games uses Normals, Speculars, Diffuse to get a perfect lighting shaders.
use Normals and Specular in this G3. because it looks like a cardboard weapon

as I said before cod4 not use normal weapons, only diffuse and specular, you can see in this video that does not use the normals for g3:

and Domar, well in fact COD 4 had no bump maps (normals) they have some specs and occlusion maps made from height maps, those are more white ... well how do i know that ? i've extracted in the past the original .dds (textures) from the weapons and that's how i know ... i've know the textuers from porting ? no, extarcted with the COD kit that extract the weapon with all attachments and textures and also animations ...is just like u can extrac the real animations from COD series ( COD 1,2,3,4 MW1,MW2,Black Ops ) and i know it works 'cause i know how to port the animations ,,,, u don't believe well, try and find for urself ...
