its a mod from Half life 1
and its have different engine from CS . The walking , the moving ... different
and Half life is easier to mod Very Happy

it's about the same engine wang. CS uses the Goldsource engine much like halflife. hey have you seen the Mod PARANOIA? real cool features but a bit flawed. Rolling Eyes

counter strike is a half life mod dude Razz

if you go to the directory where you installed cs, you can see a folder with the name "valve"
that folder is the half life game directory, where you can see models and some other stuff Smile

if you mean, HL and CS dont have the same engine, they have the same engine

HL=GLDSRC(Gold Source)
CS=GLDSRC(Gold Source)
