3D Ripper and Modeling
Two Issues
First one is about 3D Modeling. I have this 3Ds Max in Trial version and loading the OBJ files onto 3DS Max is no problem but I can't find the gun and what is needed to be deleted (i.e. the buildings, floors, wrecks) and leaving only the weapon.
I have another problem and that is I'm totally unfamiliar with the procedures of editing the frames after placing it onto 3DS Max. However once it is imported into Milkshape 3D I can handle it onwards...since I'm relatively fine with handling Milkshape 3D.
Need help!!!

you must find the weapon They are very small
. you tried to import the obj file in MilkShape?
Re: 3D Ripper and Modeling
check inbox rafael, I think I outlined the problem a bit clearer. But I havent tried importing through Milkshape 3D, that might be the reason. Will try ASAP...just got my heavy-duty PC back...been using my laptop for days...

Re: 3D Ripper and Modeling
you use 3ds max.
and in the middle of the grid. find the weapon where the two black lines meet. thats the weapon
and export/import it in ms3d. apply textures on both weapon( the weapon is duplicated so you need to apply the texture to see what weapon is f*cked up textures)

Re: 3D Ripper and Modeling
Completely different question. Anyone tried 3D ripping from Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor 2010?
I tried operating 3D Ripper DX on MoH 2010 but failed, as for BF3 I might need to find a way to link 3D Ripper DX to the Battlefield Battlelog Launcher or something like that?
Thx!!!

use the option "start global system monitoring", and then open battlefield to see if it works (i ripped from mw3 multiplayer that way, using altermw3)
it will display a windows warning you about troubles and other things, the most important thing there is the sentence: "on vista and windows 7, UAC should be disabled"
if you have uac enabled, disable it, if not continue and 3d ripper will be on the taskbar, open BF3 from the battlelog and if this works you should see the "ready to capture" thing on the screen
i didnt tried this, so lets hope this works XD

i tried too, but it fails right after you press F12, maybe the unreal engine isn't compatible with 3D Ripper...

maybe from multiplayer... singleplayer and multiplayer have two different engines
singleplayer: unreal engine
multiplayer: frostbite engine (the same from battlefield bad company 2)
