CSS sounds to cs 1.6

How to i convert sounds from css to cs 1.6 ? I'm not talking about the default ones, im talking about sounds from custom skins. I need it to convert some models. Im sure it has got to do something with the frequency. Anyone?

u need to port from any frequency<22050hz 16bit mono uncompreced
i think audacity can do it

I tried audacity before but failed. Can you give me exact instructions?

1-drag ur sound on audacity,and open it.
2-change the frequency just like me,from 44100 to 22050.

3-export it(Ctrl+sgift+e)as "other file formats",just like me:

4-clink in "options",and check if is marked to WAV(microsoft),and Signed 16 bit pcm
5-save,it should work :p
